At what age can my child start learning the piano?
I take students from 4 years onwards, students are assessed by me at a free 30 minute introductory lesson from which it can be decided if they are ready.
Can parents sit in on their child’s lesson?
Absolutely! I actively encourage parents to sit in on younger children’s lessons. Experience has shown that younger students are much more engaged if there is parental involvement.
Am I too old to learn?
Never, my oldest student was 84 and I currently teach adults ranging in age from 32 to 74. All that is needed is an inquisitive mind and an enthusiasm to learn!
